Kerala Spicy Mutton in Roasted Gravy

INGREDIENTS

  • Mutton 500 Grams(cut into pieces)
  • Green chilli 2 Nos
  • Onion 2 Nos
  • Fennel seed 1/2 Teaspoons
  • pepper powder 1/2 Teaspoons
  • coriander powder 2 Teaspoons
  • Garam masala 1 Teaspoons
  • Ginger garlic paste 3 Teaspoons
  • Red chilli powder 1 Teaspoons
  • tumeric powder 1/2 Teaspoons
  • Oil 1 Teaspoons
  • Salt some To Taste
  • Curry leaves 1 sprigs
  • Red chilli powder 1 Teaspoons(To marinate)
  • Tumeric powder 1/2 Teaspoons(To marinate)
  • Coriander powder 2 Teaspoons(To marinate)
  • Lemon juice 1 Teaspoons(To marinate)
  • Salt 1 Pinch(To marinate)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Heat oil in a pan and add sliced onion, fennel seeds and curry leaves.
  • Cook with the pan covered and stir in between till onion turns brown in color.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, green chilli and cook for 2-3 min.
  • Add red chilli, turmeric, coriander powder, pepper powder, garam masala, salt and cook for 2-3 min.
  • Mix all the ingredients to marinate. Add little water into it and make it to a paste
  • Add mutton pieces into it and mix well
  • Pressure cook it till mutton is cooked.
  • Add cooked mutton and mix well.
  • Cook with the pan covered in medium flame till oil starts appearing on top. Serve hot
